Price revision of the gaiters and an "update" on the production system

Thank you for your continued support.
Today, I would like to talk about a significant turning point for our brand.
Starting February 1, 2026, we will be revising the prices of some products.

• Trail Gaiter: 4,500 yen → 5,500 yen

※ I asked AI to make it sound more like me, and it turned into a slightly amusing text The content I want to convey is packed in as it is!

As for the "Bushwhacking Gaiters," we have been holding on to a sale price (1,000 yen off) for a while, but at this timing, we will be returning to the original price. I feel bad about this, but it is a decision to continue making tools that we can confidently say, "With this, we can win," while using them to the fullest in the field.

And there is another significant change.
Finally, we have established a system to deliver the Trail Gaiters "immediately."
Until now, I have been sewing them night after night, but thankfully, orders have surged, and I was completely overwhelmed. There was even a risk of not having time to participate in races. So, my husband took action and decided to outsource the sewing of the Trail Gaiters to a specialized factory.
From here, it became quite a muddy battle.

Searching for domestic factories starting with "Are you really a beginner?"
My husband first began negotiations with a reputable factory in China that we met at a large exhibition. However, the exquisite thickness, stretch, and tear-resistant fabric that we have been using and insisting on could not be obtained there. While there was an option to change the fabric to prioritize cost, at that point, it would no longer be our tool. In the end, we reluctantly gave up on entering China.
From there, we spent days searching for domestic factories from scratch. My husband, who is completely unfamiliar with the apparel industry, nervously called a factory asking, "Can you take small lots?"
The response was, "Are you saying you're challenging yourself after leaving your job? That sounds interesting, so just send me a sample and the fabric, and I'll sew it up," which was a very generous response.
Later, when the factory staff saw the samples we made, they were surprised and said, "Are you really a beginner!? You're sewing really well!" It was the moment when the days of self-study, focusing only on the usability in the field, were recognized by professionals.

Precise stitching to "not kill" the stretch
However, the path to mass production was even more severe.
Even with the same pattern, if the sewing method is just a little different, that clingy fit can disappear in an instant.
What we particularly focused on was the "density of the cover stitch."
To maximize the stretch of this fabric, it is necessary to make the stitches fine and use the thread generously. By doing so, even when the fabric is stretched to the maximum, the thread will follow without pulling tight. This meticulous sewing, which may seem inefficient at first glance, is the true nature of the elasticity that follows those intense movements.
Normally, we wouldn't have a "sewing design document" that is necessary. My husband sent a "homemade specification sheet" that looked more like a letter, with instructions written on photos, multiple times, and we repeatedly worked through the details with the factory staff.

Another challenge was printing the logo.
With "high stretch" and "strong water repellency," it was the worst condition for printing. Special ink that does not crack when stretched and withstands water-repellent processing. We had many discussions with the craftsmen for the color matching and durability.

We will continue to adhere to a "field-oriented" approach.
Thus, thanks to professional skills, we have been able to mass-produce Trail Gaiters that are on par with what I was making (in fact, the stability is even better). Now, we can deliver them to everyone without making you wait for a long time.

By the way, I will continue to handcraft the "Gaiters that won't slip down even when bushwhacking" stitch by stitch. I can't help but want to be the one holding the handle for that special structure.
If you want to "buy before the price increase!" please do so by the end of January.
If you want to "go to the mountains soon with the newly upgraded strongest gaiters!" please check them out right now.

We will continue to deliver only the tools that we are confident in, saying "This is it!" during races.
Thank you for your continued support of our gaiters in this new system!
