What makes Yamafee special

  • The course, 3D printed

    Built from GPX and elevation data, the ridgelines and route of the race course are reproduced in 3D.

  • Laser engraved on natural slate

    Your name, time, placing and more are laser engraved on a natural slate base. Every size includes the word “Finisher”.

  • An elevation profile that glows in the dark

    The elevation profile is made of luminous material. Turn off the lights and the ups and downs of the course softly appear in the dark.

Three ways to display

  • Lay flat

    Slot the elevation profile upright onto the two pegs of the terrain piece. Place it directly on a desk or shelf.

  • Stand it up (150mm / 200mm)

    Insert the included stand rod into the hole on the back to display it upright. The elevation profile can then be fixed lying flat.

    *The stand rod is not included with the 100mm size.

  • Hang it on the wall (all sizes)

    Hang the wall-mount part on the back on a nail or hook. The elevation profile can be fixed lying flat.

Care and handling

Keep away from heat
The terrain piece and elevation profile are made from a plant-based resin that is sensitive to heat. Placing them somewhere hot, such as a sunny windowsill, inside a car in summer or near a heater, may cause warping or discoloration.

Every piece is unique
Slate is a natural stone, so its grain and color vary from piece to piece. The color of each terrain piece also varies, so no two are exactly alike, even for the same course.

Packaging
To reduce our environmental impact, we keep packaging to a minimum and use paper materials only. If your item is damaged in transit, please let us know through our contact page.

We are a husband-and-wife adventure racing team, “Fukinotou / KATANA Adventure”. Based in Ome, Tokyo, close to the Okutama mountains, we keep racing while designing and making the gear we truly want to use in the field.
